Jewelry Care Guide

All of Ciety Boutique’s pieces are stainless steel and plated with 18K gold. Our pieces are great for everyday use as they can keep their color for about 1-2 years. They are also water-resistant and hypoallergenic.  

Follow our jewelry care guide to maintain your plated jewelry: 

• Avoid wearing your jewelry before showering, swimming or exercising. If your jewelry does get wet or any form of moisture, be sure to completely dry it.
• Allow perfume, lotions and creams to dry or be absorbed into skin before putting on your jewelry.
• Try to prevent your jewelry from knocking into countertops and rubbing against each other. Also, keep your jewelry away from hard surfaces to prevent any scratching.
• Store like items together, such as gold plating and silver plating. The different metals will cause each other to tarnish, fade and/or turn colors. Have different storage places for different colors of metals like gold and rose gold. Always store your jewelry in a dry area.
